“Evening spinal therapy (6pm) with Wendy is the absolute best way to wind down your day. It’s like having a warm cup of tea with a friend who sees your potential, motivates you by telling it like it is and helps you transform and evolve into your best self.

I’ve lived with a neuromuscular disease my whole life that made me think there were so many things my body couldn’t do. I have struggled for a long time to balance on one leg. Over the past three months of consistently doing Wendy’s class I can now balance on one leg! As an added bonus, my feet have grown a 1/2 shoe size because my toes have uncurled with all the foot proprioception exercises we do.

These are only some of the differences I’ve experienced in my body. Additionally my spine is longer and my shoulders wider!

Wendy has changed my life and made me believe in my body’s potential again!”

Wendy Shubin, Certified Physician Assistant, traumatic neck injury survivor, scoliosis & hypermobility disorder. Age 45

In October 2008, I suffered from a traumatic neck injury from a chiropractic adjustment. Fives days after my adjustment I woke up with 4.5 years of chronic daily headache, occipital neuralgia, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and vertigo.

Being an advanced practice practitioner,, I thought Iit would be easy navigating myself through a quick recovery. I could not have been more wrong…

I saw more chiropractors, neurologists, TMJ and headache specialists, vestibular specialists, vertigo specialists, pain specialists and even a plastic surgeon that specializes in Botox for TMJ.

I was put through horrifying vestibular testing, diagnostic imaging, countless prescription medications, botox and kenalog injections and more traumatic chiropractic adjustments until in 2012 when I was introduced to an Osteopath who saved my life!

Osteopathic manual therapy gave me fast results along with, yoga therapy, strength training, ELDOA, proprioception and awareness exercises, and myofascial and global postural stretching. I decided to learn everything I could to heal myself. I never thought I would be teaching it. Because I have to LIVE and BREATHE these therapeutic modalities, I know I need to share it to keep me honest and accountable.

“Hi Wendy, I am doing great! Almost no pain at all. I have recently accepted a new position and have been working like crazy with training and my new schedule… I am almost ready to go one on one with my personal trainer and slowly ease back into fitness routine….I am so appreciative of your healing program.’

“I was referred to Wendy by my pain doctor because he felt that yoga may help my chronic pain.  I have been suffering from pelvic floor issues and chronic back pain for years after having two spinal fusions.  Unfortunately, after feeling better, I was injured in a car accident.  As soon as I met Wendy, I felt at ease.  We worked on a care plan for me that would fit into my schedule. I would highly recommend Wendy to anyone who has chronic pain!”

“This was very different than any yoga experience I have ever had!  I would recommend this to anyone who would like to heal their body. It is really helping my injured leg and scoliosis. Wendy is amazing!”

Tely T., MS, LMFT, LPCC, Psychotherapist & Neurotherapist, Age 46

“Wendy really knows her stuff. In addition to being a yoga teacher she is a Physician Assistant specializing in OB/GYN, so she knows pelvic floor issues like nobody’s business.  And she was supportive – She clearly cares about her students.”

“As an Osteopathic physician, we believe the mind and body work as a whole.  I have never had yoga instruction before like Wendy’s enlightening instructions.  I was amazed how she soothed my sore shoulder and thigh.  The only problem with Wendy is that she lives on the West Coast and I am on the East Coast.  We need her back!”

”Wendy, first and foremost, is my friend. Her skills as a friend; loyal, kind, patient and a great listener, all set the stage for adding the sugar and spice with her medical background and the enormous training camps of various types of yoga she has studied.  I always feel better, more balance and fully in my body when I finish a hatha therapeutics class with her.  Whether in a group setting or one on one, she is attentive.  Her mastery is adding humor to her instruction. I adore her and her skills as a yoga teacher and as a friend.”

Jessica T., Actress, Age 36

“Wendy is skilled, funny and incredibly involved! I’m so grateful to have her as a teacher who inspires me, challenges me and gives me space to challenge myself. I didn’t know what to expect from a hatha therapeutics class. I was blown away, it’s familiar and yet very different from any yoga class I’ve taken. Wendy doesn’t ask you to clear your head or leave all your stuff at the door, she acknowledges the struggle and invites you to confront it. And if you do, wow, it feels so good even when it doesn’t :)”
